About Me
Hello, my name is Dillon Jones. I am the owner and operator of DLJ Manufacturing. I grew up learning how to weld and machine in my dad’s garage, and used the skills acquired there to start doing small custom machining and fabrication projects while in high school. Following high school, I decided to advance my hobby into a career path by working at a local fabrication shop. At this same time, I also chose to advance my machining knowledge by enrolling in College of the Redwoods Manufacturing Technology program. On top of those, a friend and I stared building headache racks for pick-up trucks in our spare time. After graduating from CR with my Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing Technology, I decided to lean hard into the idea of running my own machine shop. DLJ Manufacturing was officially stated in 2020, mainly working out of my dad’s garage. As the years went on, my client list grew slowly, and I worked out of a few different shops. In March of 2025, I moved my business into my current building. That is when I truly started growing. Here, I started leaning more into heavy equipment repair and mobile welding. What started as a single welder and a work space, has turned into a fully functional machine shop, fabrication shop, and mechanic shop. My main fleet of machines has grown to a Leblond 19″x120″ lathe, Gorton knee mill, Miller XMT350, and a Miller Big Blue 400 for mobile work. With this equipment, I am able to provide services such as, hydraulic cylinder machining, crack repairs, gate building, equipment modifications, custom gates, truck accessories, and so much more!
